How Halloween Spirit Helps Your Business
Halloween and other holidays provide a great opportunity to use the holiday to promote your business. Here are some ideas of how you can take advantage of the opportunity.
- Have Halloween sales. Lots of businesses have sales around Halloween, which means lots of people will be out shopping. Make sure you cash in on your share of the extra business!
- Participate in community Halloween events. Oftentimes malls and strip malls will sponsor safe trick-or-treating for families. At the very least let kids “Trick or Treat” when they are in your store with their parents. Happy children mean that parents stay longer, and are more likely to make a purchase!
- Encourage employees to decorate and dress up. Have you ever been into a store around Halloween time where the employees are dressed up in Halloween wigs and costumes, or where the store is decorated for the holiday? It always makes me smile, and it will put your customers in a better mood, too! There are some great men’s and women’s Halloween costumes to choose from — at the very least, get your employees to wear Halloween masks!
