I Want A Piece of the Internet Sales Pie
I’m trying to figure out what to do first to build an online store. I know I have a good product that will market to the population that is most likely to shop online. I think my products are not ones that people will want to return. I think my prices are good-I just want to avoid a lot of hiring and the rental of a regular brick-and-mortar store.
So do I start by buying a domain? Do I have to hire someone to build the page? I need some sort of shopping cart software. Then I have to figure out how I’ll manage all of the hundreds of orders that will come pouring in (I hope).
I also know that I’m probably going to have to hire someone who can really get my site up there in all of the search engines. I know there’s some secret to that, because if there wasn’t, how would only some of the sites come to the top as they do when virtually everyone is trying to get their business to come up near the top of the lists? So once I master all of these things, I’m certain my business will take off much better than if I tried to run it out of a storefront somewhere.
