You’re Not a Hacker, You’re a Slacker
Many of you out there think you’re hackers. You sit back and tap into computers or companies for your own pleasure or to get back at “The Man.” What has all your hacking knowledge and experience acquired you? It certainly hasn’t acquired you a job. There are high paying jobs out there that can put your talents to use but you need some training to hone your hacking skills to get them. Ethical hacking training can be obtained through companies such as Logical Security.
CISSP education goes over the various different threats that companies will face in the current IT climate. This course will train you to become a Certified Ethical Hacker. It covers topics such as DDoS Attacks, Virus Creation, Intrusion Detection, Scanning, and Buffer Overflows. Not only does it provide you with lecture based instruction but also teaches you how to detect these types of attacks on your own system. That’s right; “The Man” knows how to find you. You’ve just been lucky so far.
For those of you that are more hands on and have trouble understanding base theory, the material in the CISSP training course give you 3-D illustrations and graphics that helps you gain a clearer understanding of theoretical concepts.
It’s time to get out from your dark hole in your room and start training for a career. With training from security companies, you can take the skills that you used to use to impress your buddies and turn them into cold hard cash.
