With the tools that are available online today, you can now get consumer mailing lists that are far more accurate than they were in the past. You can use online mapping tools to map out a highly specific geographic area that you want to target for your lists. You can access a lot of information about people because they’re now making it available online through social networking profiles. The lists that you get today are even more accurate than in the past because of the amount of information available online and the accuracy of that information as compared to the past.

Direct mail does still work. In fact, since fewer people are doing it these days, you have less competition for the customer’s attention when you send out direct marketing mail. By using the Internet to choose the right people to send that mail to, you can really create highly effective direct marketing campaigns that translate directly into profits.

Not long ago, I was talking to a friend about the possibility of her creating a dog blog.  She is knowledgeable on subjects such as dog training, and she used to work in a doggie daycare.  I think with her writing skills and interests in both writing and dogs, she would make a really good dog blogger.

For instance, she could write about things such as how to properly train a big dog such as a Great Dane, or how to take the proper care of the luxurious coat of a Cavalier King Charles spaniel.  It’s too bad she no longer works at the doggie daycare, because I think a daily blog about the happenings there would have made for perfect subject matter.

When you’re just starting out with a blog, you really can’t expect much revenue to come from it.  It takes a couple of years to get enough readership to generate significant amounts of advertising revenue.  So you have to be willing to blog relentlessly for a while before you start to see any results.

Also, you have to be knowledgeable about the type of writing works best for blogging.  General rules of thumb are to use keywords, write in short paragraphs, write bulleted lists where applicable, and include pictures whenever possible.

If you have the knowledge and the expertise to write a blog, and you have a subject in which you are sure you can pick up readers, you may have the potential for a little fun side income!

Here’s what I found out about dreamweaver extensions:

• A dreamweaver extension package is itself a small software package.
• There are many different types of dreamweaver extensions. They all provide different types of advanced features for designing web pages using Dreamweaver.
• There are dreamweaver extensions available from many different vendors. Some of these extensions are free.
• You don’t have to have computer coding knowledge to know what you’re doing with dreamweaver extensions.
• You can use extensions to make certain web tasks automatic. This greatly helps with reducing wasted time.

Basically I learned that dreamweaver is a type of software that I should probably learn more about. It looks like it’s powerful. It also looks like these extensions make it even more powerful. I’m glad that I heard the buzz. Now I’ll have to see what else I can learn about it!
