My Passion for Geography Gets A Blend
I have always loved geography and travel. In fact I can draw the map of the world without looking at any source and I can name all country capitals from memory.
I will be graduating from high school this year and I have been looking at various bachelor degree programs online. I want to take up a degree than deals with peoples and places.
I think an online humanities degree program suits me because not only do I love different places but I also love the arts and politics.
On top of my list of potential courses is sociology. Sociology deals with studying how people behave in society. I can foresee a future where I being a sociologist will do my research on different cultures in different countries.
I will also have an opportunity to travel to different places to deliver academic studies and findings.
I found a school that offers online college degree and I guess I am taking my courses there because I like the flexible schedule. The internet will help me do my research and while I am doing my studies, I can manage my time so I can do a part time job.
It would really be great to blend my passion for geography while studying people from different countries.
