Help with Arthritis
My mother has arthritis in her hands. It’s pretty severe. She loves to paint and most days she cannot even hold a paint brush. I’ve been trying to help her by doing some research into alternative medicine and pain relief. My mother is pretty old school, so I’m not sure what I’ll be able to convince her to try.
I’ve read a bit about magnetic healing. I think that I’ll be able to get her to at least try it. I think that she takes far too much ibuprofen and it is starting to affect her stomach. We need to find some alternative ways to treat her arthritis. Besides dealing with the pain all of the time, she is absolutely miserable when she cannot paint. Painting used to be a huge part of her life. She does gorgeous watercolors, mostly landscapes and ocean scenes. They are beautiful and I am lucky to have a ton of her work in my home. Painting is her only creative outlet and it was the one thing that she did for herself when my brother and I were kids. Since her arthritis has gotten so bad that she can no longer paint, I have actually seen her become more and more depressed. I have to find some way to help her out so she can get back to doing what she loves.
