Expensive Vet
It seems like everyone talks about it, and you see the ads on TV all of the time about how to buy discount pet supplies. I must not be a good listener, because for the last several years since I adopted my little buddy I have still been buying stuff like K9 Advantix for dogs, and the Advantage flea stuff from my vet.
And although I like my vet because you can tell that he has a genuine love of animals, his prices are through the roof. Each year I take her in for her annual check up, and the vet gives her a really good once over. He moves her legs around, checks her spine, looks at her teeth and ears, and so far has never found anything wrong. Then they drag her in the back room and give her a few shots. The whole ordeal takes maybe fifteen minutes.
This last time around the bill came out to a little over two hundred dollars. Are you kidding me: Two hundred dollars for fifteen minutes? I’m not a mathematician, but that’s like eight hundred dollars an hour! Now I realize that veterinary school was probably expensive, and you do have a family to feed, but that is just ridiculous.
