Ken Griffey Jr. Pillow
As a kid, I went through a lot of different types of ways of decorating my bedroom. I always had to have a theme. For a long time, the theme was baseball – I loved playing baseball, I loved watching baseball, and I was a tremendous fan of Ken Griffey Jr. I even created personalized photo blankets of Griffey so that he could be by my side every day.
But kids change, of course, and I went through other fazes as well. For example, I was really into biking and decorated my room with bikes and bikers and even motocross bedding in order to fully surround myself with everything about the biking world.
Later, when I was into skateboarding, I had skateboard wallpaper, skateboard bedding and even random skateboard equipment on my walls. Looking back on it now I can’t understand why I thought putting a knee protector on my wall was cool, but at the time it seemed like a great idea, and even now I suppose I don’t regret the decision very much other than I have a lot of explaining to do when friends look at old photographs of me in my room. I can’t tell you how many times people thought it was an athletic cup.
