Fly Fishing in the Georgia Waters
You don’t even have to live far away to have the chance to go on a fly fishing trip. At least if you’re living in Atlanta. These trips include expeditions into the Toccoa River. There, you can try a hand at fly fishing either by boat or by just wading in the river. If the river isn’t your thing, you can travel through the Chattahoochee National Forest to get to Lake Blue Ridge or Lake Nottley.

If you like the Toccoa River enough, there has been a lot of development around there. There are concerns about overdevelopment harming the ecology, but you can also have a chance to live there too. Then, you could fly fish every day if you want to. If you’re still working in a big city, like Atlanta though, it could be a tough commute back and forth every day.
